Superstar Strongmen Compete for Cash at The 2011 Bodybuilding.com Los Angeles Fitness Expo

(Los Angeles) - The All American Strongman Challenge returns to California’s largest health and fitness event, The Bodybuilding.com Los Angeles Fitness Expo presented by Subway Restaurants, Saturday and Sunday, January 29-30, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 South Figueroa Street, West Halls A/B.

"It's an honor, once again, to host the All American Strongman Challenge, certainly one of our most popular annual events," said The Los Angeles Fitness Expo's Executive Director Erin Ferries. "People travel from all over the world to witness the brute strength of these warriors."

Presented by Odd Haugen, The All American Strongman Challenge will determine future competitors for the 2011 World Strong Man Super Series. Open to all qualified Strongman athletes, this competition will win the top three athletes a direct invite to the 2011 World Strong Man Super Series Tour, and all top six winners will receive All American Team Honors during an award ceremony. The 2011 All American Champion will automatically be invited to the 2011 Arnold's Classic Strongman Competition.

Six Disciplines will be tested during the All American Strongman Challenge. Saturday's (beginning at 1pm) include the Farmers Walk, the Power Medley, the Super Yoke, and the Louis Cyr Dead-Lift contests. Sunday's (beginning at 11am) include the Overhead Lifting Medley, and the Stone over Bar for Reps contests. The prizes will be awarded as follows:

The Bodybuilding.com Los Angeles Fitness Expo offers something for everybody!
