The Wholistic Health Society of the Black Hills

The Wholistic Health Society of the Black Hills is made up of health care practitioners and businesses dedicated to natural healing and healthier living.

The members of their group include:

•Massage Therapists, Reflexologists, Nurses, and Chiropractors

•Nutritionists, Herbalists and Naturopaths

•Veterinarians and those involved with animal health and wellness

•Clinical Hypnotherapists, Psychologists, and Mental Health Counselors

•Acupuncturists, Reiki Masters and Practitioners, Life Coaches

•Business owners who promote natural healing and healthy living

•And many others who are interested in supporting our goals

Their goals are:

•To provide education to the public about alternative/complementary options for health care available in the Black Hills Region.

•To host an annual Wholistic Health Expo

•To create a Directory of Wholistic Health Care practitioners and businesses for the public information

To meet these goals they sponsor monthly education talks and demonstrations on the third Tuesday of each month at the Rapid City Public Library. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the presentations run from 6:30 until 8:00. Our monthly business meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at the Public Library from 6-8 pm. They are also sponsoring the second Black Hills Wholistic Health Expo in April, 2010.

They are currently conducting a membership drive. Individual dues for one year are $10, business $25, for up to 3 people, and $5 for each additional person. If you are wholistic health care practitioner, business, or someone who shares our goals, they encourage you to join us in our effort to bring information to the public and provide healthy alternatives to our community.
