Fitness and health champions
will lead classes on The Fit Zone, Gravity, Modern
Pilates, and many more. Popular cardio-dance classes such
as burlesque, tribal dance, street dance, and a class
based on movements from the hit US television series Glee
will be offered.
Pilates will showcase its MVe chair workout, and Zumba
arrives at the showcase for the first time this year,
offering classes on Zumbatronics, Zumba Cardio Party, and
Zumba Toning. Kettlebell Group X, an accredited training
course using weighted kettlebells for training and
exercise, will also be at the event, as will the Lance
Armstrong-backed Livestrong organization, which will set
up an indoor cycling arena with a nine-by-nine meter
virtual cycling screen featuring Lance himself in
simulated cycling workouts.
Comparable to Inner IDEA in the US, IFS is one of Europe's
biggest fitness conventions and sets the trends for what
gyms and fitness centers throughout Europe and Asia can
expect to see in the coming year.
Inner IDEA in San Diego, California, celebrates its sixth
annual event centered on mind, body and spirit wellness on
October 6-9. The international professional event is
designed for health and fitness professionals with
sessions based on integrative health and wellness
including 100+ interactive sessions on Pilates, yoga, nia,
gyrokinesis, integrated movement, meditation, nutrition,
and the wellness marketplace.
