Health Expos have become quite a popular community
event. People are able to receive free health screenings, tests and information
on everything from diabetes to weight management.
But, what is a person supposed to do with all the
info they find out about their health? Just ask the volunteers of the area
Seventh-day Adventist organizers of the
Union Springs Health Expo.

The Health Expo is like a health fair, only
better. It is staffed by medical and non-medical volunteers who don't just tell
you what's wrong, they show you how to do simple, practical things to prevent
disease and reverse the effects you may already have. The Health
Expo will feature screenings for blood pressure, lung capacity, body-fat
analysis, cholesterol, glucose, Harvard step test, and a free anti-stress
massage. During the screenings, every hour on the hour there will be health
lectures.
The Health Expo promises to have great learning opportunities and is a great way
to take charge of your own health.
The hours of the screenings and lectures are 10:00
am – 4:00 pm and are absolutely free.
Union Springs Health Expo 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run.
5K race and 1 mile fun run. Our course is
Certified to be accurate by USATF #NY10116KL (5km) and #NY10123KL (1 Mile) Time:
1 mile fun run start 8:00 am; 5K start 8:15
