Grand Prix Grappling is
a martial arts tournament promotion founded by Elbert
Hebron. Elbert Hebron has been a promoter of martial
arts events in Houston since 2003. |

Initially, the events were a
joint production of Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu amateur
competitions. The turnout for these events soon outgrew
the venues that could accommodate both forms of martial
arts, so the decision was made to focus solely on
grappling events in beginning 2009.
Grand Prix Grappling has hosted some of the largest
martial arts events in Houston, and has brought in some of
the biggest names in the Grappling world such as Ruben
Charles aka “Cobrinha”, Kyra Gracie, Renato Tavares, and
Bill “The Grill” Cooper, just to name a few. Our signature
events include the Texas International Grappling Festival,
The Houston Grand Prix, and the Battle of H-Town.
