The TX3 Kemah
Triathlon has emerged as one of the Gulf Coast’s
premier triathlons. This is a three day event where
over 2,000 athletes participate in the triathlons and
over 5,000 attend the Multisport Fitness Expo on
Friday.
The Olympic distance
race offers athletes the opportunity to qualify for
one of the most prestigious triathlons in the world,
the ESCAPE from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco.
Before and after the race,
hungry muscles and inquisitive minds can acquire food,
equipment, and gear tune-ups during the triathlon's
weekend-long health and fitness expo.

BENEFICIARY:
They choose to donate to a
variety of charities throughout the Onurmark Production
events. Onurmark believes that local groups, clubs,
teams and projects benefit greatly from the donations
they are able to give. Jenny’s Light is the major
beneficiary for Gateway to the Bay Triathlon.
PRODUCERS:
Onurmark Productions is a
premier race production company leading the way in
uniquely, challenging triathlons, duathlons and running
events. Onurmark Productions currently produces six
events.
EXPECTED ATTENDANCE:
Annually the event
attracts over 4,000 athletes, spectators and volunteers
over the course of three days. In 2010 athletes
represented 34 cities and 15 states at the event.
PUBLICITY:
Press releases are sent to
area newspapers, national and regional publications, TV,
and internet news media. Advertisements are placed in
the Runner Triathlete News, the Houston Chronicle,
Competitor Group Publications, and USA Triathlon Life.
