The Scheels Sports &
Fitness Expo, held in conjunction with the IMT Des
Moines Marathon, is host to national and local
exhibitors featuring the latest in attractions,
sportswear, gear and more that appeals to anyone
interested in actively participating in health &
wellness.
Competito are required to pick up your athlete packet,
which includes your bib/race number, IPICO timing
device (Sportag™), souvenir guide, athlete packet,
race shirt and important race day information at the
Scheels Sports & Fitness Expo on Friday, October 19,
from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. or Saturday, October 20, from
10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Speaker Series
The MidAmerican Energy Speaker Series offers
seminars and entertainment over the course of race weekend. Information on
training for various sports, fitness topics, motivational messages, IMT Des
Moines Marathon course presentations and much more will be offered at the
MidAmerican Energy Speaker Series, which is free and open to the public.
Pasta Dinner
The Pasta Dinner will be held in conjunction with
the Scheels Sports & Fitness Expo at the Polk County Convention Complex.
