National Intramural Sports Symposium

Take your work to the next
level. The National Intramural Sports Symposium (NISS) is
designed by NIRSA to introduce both new and experienced
intramural facilitators to a wide range of exciting
professional development opportunities. Through guest
speaker presentations and smaller, concentrated
educational sessions, the NISS will address a variety of
topics relevant to intramural sports.
The 2012 NISS will be held this June 13th - 15th in
Columbus, Ohio.
Speaker
Dr. Kay Potetz will be the keynote speaker at the 2012
National Intramural Sports Symposium. Dr. Potetz will
present on the subject of communication, discussing
helpful ways of communicating up-the-chain within an
organization, as well as leading professionals in
effective communication, and delegating tasks to students.
Praised nationally for her versatility, Dr. Potetz has
been speaking and conducting seminars for groups in health
care, higher education, and the private sector for over 30
years. She holds a certificate in Developing Leadership
through Emotional Intelligence from Case Western
University and is an adjunct faculty member at Baldwin
Wallace College and Ursuline College.
