Gluten Intolerance Group
(GIG) Leadership Conference
June 14-15, 2012
Gluten Free F Health
and Wellness Experience
June 16, 2012
The 2012 GIG
Conference is coming home to the Seattle area. The
economy is not good and these factors made it
necessary the conference closer to our headquarters to
control costs and make it an excellent experience for
those who attend. |
|
The "conference" is growing
from a traditional program to a Gluten-Free Health &
Wellness Expo--a unique event promoting health and
wellness, providing health screenings and opportunities to
learn practical tips for living gluten-free.
More details will be available in the next few weeks. As
you know, the economy has changed the way we all do
business and this decision is one that will be in the best
interest to our members, as well as gluten-intolerant
individuals and families who will want to attend this
event. Seattle is the headquarters for the Gluten
Intolerance Group of North America (GIG) and an active
health conscience community. These resources will make
this one of the finest gluten-free event in 2012.
The greater Puget Sound area is home to thousands of
gluten-free consumers, and many fabulous food companies,
as well as an active medical community.
The weekend will include
these special programs:
1. The GF Health and
Wellness Experience is expecting to have over 500
attendees. Attendees enjoy a variety of activities on
Saturday.
- Health Screenings
- Interactive talks; hands-on activities
- Youth and Teen activities
- Exhibits
2. Program is open to public
3. The Health and Wellness
Experience activities will be part of a lively event hall
incorporating various activities to keep people engaged.
4. The GIG Leadership
Training (1/2 day Thursday and Friday before Health and
Wellness Experience) Event is specifically for
gluten-related support group leaders to gain skills and
knowledge in order to be the best they can be in leading
their local support groups. There is plenty of time for
networking, sharing and caring.
Please note that Expo details are subject to change.
Always contact Expo management directly for up to
date contest details or any questions. And be sure to
